A great deal of planning is all you need to create an enviable flower Garden design. Choose the areas where you want to plant. Measure the dimension of the flower bed and take your time to sketch out the flower bed layout. below are some of the important ideas you should incorporate into the design of your flower bed.

(1) In setting up your flower bed, Positioning is vital. Make sure it is not set up in a spot where sunlight is restricted from the plants. This is a very important step. You should also inspect the soil thoroughly. Make sure the soil is not too hard, compact or too damp. This is because too much water could damage the roots of your flower s. I'm sure you don't want that to happen to you, because that defeats the sole purpose of setting up your flower bed in the first place

(2) apart from Positioning, it is also very essential for you to set up your flower bed on a wide area. This will enable you to be able to plant a wide variety of flower ing trees and flower ing shrubs during different periods and season in the year. Although there is no particular law as to how wide your flower bed should be, but you should strive to make it at least 5 ft - 7 ft in width.

This helps to give your flower bed a more layered and structured look

(3) Another great idea that is highly recommended by highly successful Garden experts for a great flower Garden design is to try as much as possible to plant most of your flower s in groups, except for those stand-alone plants that are always in odd group ings. When you plant in group this way, your Garden will not appear clustered with a jumbling look; instead, you have a well planned and structured Garden bed.

(4) You should also give your flower bed a very good definition. Use lines that will certainly set it apart from the rest of the Garden. different lines are used for proper definition of a flower bed. Although a straight line is considered to give an elegant perception of the flower bed, curved lines are also preferred by a lot of people because it could give more elegance to the flower bed design. It is also very important to note here that you should try as much as possible to create unity in your Garden flower bed design. Try to limit the colour and size of the flower bed as much as possible.
